14/11/2016 - 27/11/2016

During the first week I didn't focus on the projection mapping that much but i did manage to get some time arranging the models, The bulk of the work was completed during the second week. Cynthia showed me the walls and which sections would be falling, so I though that instead of creating panels specifically to those sections I would create panels which could be used as building blocks to create what was ever necessary. They can in fact be used to create the entire wall if need be. There are 7 types, I will speak to the class if i need to make more.

I also textured the previous control panel. It took some time shifting through all the textures to get the right look but i think the result is pretty decent. I had to re do some of the objects in the scene as i didn't manage to fix the problem that i had before so i thought it would be quicker to just do them again. I also edited a few textures to fit better. Seeing as the control panel will be relatively small I thought that it would be pointless to map the objects on all sides, so i planer mapped everything to the front, this reduced the time drastically and will still produce a overall effective outcome. I also used the vector dials I created three weeks ago to fill in the dials texture which came quite in handy. Lastly I Created some spot lights to give the buttons a glow, I am not sure that it could be done using custom textures that would create a glow but I did it the only way I know how. Will debate tomorrow with the rest of the team and see what is best.
